What's the shipping process?
Orders ship within 3-5 business days. Shipping rates vary base on location (calculated at checkout based on your address); check further details here.

How do I check my order status?
Once shipped, you'll receive an email with a tracking number. Allow 48 hours for tracking info.

How easy is setup?
Kids don't want to wait around, and we get it! That's why our playhouses come with easy-to-assemble pre-made panels and pre-drilled holes. With just two peppy pals and a battery drill, your play palace will be ready in 2-3 hours, tops!
What's the average weight and size per playhouse?
Weight varies between roughly 150-250kg depending on the Playhouse, broken down into 5-8 boxes. Dimensions are outlined in individual product descriptions and images. Check here for specifics.
🖌 Painting & Weatherproofing
Are Little Lux Playhouses watertight?
Each playhouse offers a solid level of protection from the elements, but due to the wooden slat roof design, heavy or sideways rain can occasionally sneak in. Because of this, we don’t recommend using mains-powered appliances inside.
To help minimise water ingress:
- Use a high-quality outdoor primer/sealer, such as Dulux 1Step Prep, especially on the roof and exposed timber edges.
- For added protection, apply roof silicone sealant along joins and gaps if needed.
- Follow with at least two coats of exterior-grade paint.
💡 Pro tip: The roof is much easier to paint before assembly, so get your coats on while the panels are flat and accessible!
Can I personalise and paint my playhouse?
Absolutely! Your playhouse comes pre-painted in soft grey and white tones using non-toxic, water-based paint — but to fully seal and protect it, we recommend applying a complete exterior paint system within the first 4 weeks.
✅ Recommended:
• Dulux 1Step Prep – a great water-based primer/sealer for most applications.
• For more stubborn stains or timber bleed, use Zinsser BIN or Resene Sureseal (solvent-based stain blockers) first.
Make sure to paint all exposed surfaces — including joins, edges, roof slats, and screw holes — to properly seal the timber and extend the life of your playhouse.
Once sealed, feel free to customise it however you like — whether it’s fairy lights, mini furniture, or a full Hamptons makeover! 🛋🎨🌿
